Our Story

We have been in Christian Ministry for roughly 40 years. During that time we founded and pastored a church in Northern Mississippi, and saw many people commit to Jesus. Lives were changed as people grew in the knowledge of God’s Word and in their relationship with their Savior. During that time we saw many manifestations of the Holy Spirit, as He changed lives, restored marriages, delivered, and healed.

In the last few years, we have relocated to the Greater Atlanta Area and are involved with Foreign Missions.  We are also a part of Freedom Tabernacle, a powerful church north of Atlanta led by Apostolic Pastors Robbie and Jill Mathis.

Throughout these years we have witnessed first-hand the joys and challenges of ministry. So we know what leaders encounter as they pursue God’s best for themselves and their people.

That’s why we started The Soar Network (The Season of Awakening and Reformation).

We want to provide resources to save you time and bring connections for encouragement.

Together we can change the atmosphere around us and bring many to Jesus.

  What We Believe

• We believe in the Holy Trinity – God the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. They are three in one, manifesting different aspects of God.
• We believe in God the Father – the only God of the Universe.
• We believe that Jesus came to earth as the Holy Son of God and through death on the cross paid for our sins – giving us the gift of righteousness. He rose from the dead, bringing us new life.
• We believe that we can receive Jesus as our Savior and become Born Again, children of God.
• We believe that the Holy Spirit is working in the earth today. He lives in the Hearts of Born Again Believers bringing wisdom and spiritual gifts.
• We believe in the Baptism of the Holy Spirit with the manifestation of all of His Gifts. (I Corinthians 12)
• We believe that the Bible is totally true. The inspired Word of God.
• We believe that God set up His Church (His Ekklesia) to pray, grow in understanding of God’s Word and His plans, and to expand His Kingdom by leading many to Jesus.
• We believe that there will be a final judgement – and all believers will live forever in a new heaven and a new earth.
• Jesus will be recognized by all as the King of all the Earth – where He will rule and reign forever.

 We are writing to speak of two of our closest friends, Mickey and Suellen Estes. Having known them for some time now, we are honored to call them friends – as well as co-laborers for the cause of Christ. This man and woman of God set the standard of character and integrity at the highest scale. Their commitment to the cause of Christ is encouraging and motivating on every level.

 Pastor Mickey and Suellen are like a father and mother to me. I joined their church when I was a new Christian. It was through their teaching and mentoring that I learned the Word and grew in my faith. Pastor Mickey’s Iron Man Sessions taught me to dig into the Word and  grow in faithfulness.

I later served as the Youth Pastor of the church.

Pastor Mickey and Suellen truly live their faith. They are people of the highest integrity.
